Leica 9cm F/4 Elmar Military Marking L#583570

The 9cm Elmar was delivered to the Amerik. Armee on about 24.7.45 on shipment 8175.

The delivery records are a bit chaotic but this is a very good approximation.
 The orange stamp is almost certainly U.S. Signal Corps. It is likely suggesting ownership or possibly 
a decommissioning stamp. Unusual item. The serial number numbers are typical of the 1945-46 period
